While a lot of what makes Salt Lake City a great spot has to do with what it is nearby, it also has a lot to offer within the city. I recently went on a trip to Salt Lake City, Utah for the first time ever, and I learned that a lot of what the city has to offer is actually outside of the city. What I mean by that is that if you are staying or living in SLC, you are just a day trip away from some really great destinations.
