1. Passport Holder
An important factor in a successful trip abroad is keeping organized (and not leaving important documents at home). Having a passport holder helps you keep things like your ID, vaccine card, passport, and more all in the same place.
2. Sleep Mask
Perfect for the traveler who prefers the hostel life, this sleep mask is great for blocking out light, and it even collapses into its own travel bag.
3. Makeup / Toiletries Bag
These adorable bags are very practical for packing both makeup and toiletries They can be used multiple times and look so nice sitting on your (or the hotel’s) bathroom counter. They come in several fun patterns and colors.
4. Luggage Tag
Every traveler needs a luggage tag, especially one as fun and unmissable as these. Next time their standard luggage that matches that of other passengers comes around the baggage reclaim carousel, they can make sure they are picking up the right one (and that no one else mistakenly grabs theirs as well).
5. Travel-Themed Stickers
Who doesn’t love stickers? These make for such a fun stocking stuffer and are the perfect gift for people who love putting travel stickers on their water bottles, laptops, or anything they can get their hands on.
6. Luggage Strap
No more balancing your carry-on on top of your suitcase. This strap is the exact item every traveler doesn’t know they need. It is very easy to use, helps keep your luggage together, and prevents things from toppling over when you’re running through the airport, Home Alone style, about to miss your flight.
7. Travel Themed Ornament
This passport Christmas tree ornament is one of the cutest things I have ever seen and will definitely be on my tree this year. It doesn’t have to stop here though, why not get enough ornaments for an entire travel-themed tree?

8. Collapsible Reusable Water Bottle
Not only is this water bottle convenient to pack in smaller luggage, it is also sustainable. Rather than purchasing a large pack of plastic ones, the young traveler can pack this collapsible reusable water bottle and be set for the trip.
9. Portable Mirror
For the traveler who always wants to look their best, this foldable mirror is easy to pack into a suitcase and is lined with LED lights that would make any beauty influencer proud. There is nothing wrong with a little vanity even when on vacation.
10. Travel Puzzle
Personally, I love a good puzzle, especially one that makes for cool wall art when it is finished being put together. Plus, this can be an activity for the two of you to do together! One thing I love to collect from all my trips is a postcard which is why I love this vintage postcard puzzle!
11. Travel Scrapbook
Like I said, I collect post cards from each of my travel destinations, and a travel scrapbook is the best way to keep these cards both safe and on display. This scrapbook doubles as a great gift for a traveler as well as a Disney fan, with it being modeled after the one featured in the movie, Up.
12. Travel Coffee Table Book
When they’re at home daydreaming of their next vacation, they can spend their time flipping through this National Geographic book, Destinations of a Lifetime, for some travel inspo. Not only that, but it makes for some wonderful home decor as a coffee table book.
13. Phone Holder
Not every flight has a TV and not every TV has the best movies, so for those who like to download entertainment before the flight, this phone holder makes for such convenient viewing. Not only can you clip it to an airplane seat, but you can attach it to other items like a suitcase or a small table.
14. Amazon eGift Card
Never underestimate how much someone can love a gift card. As travel expenses start to rack up, having an Amazon gift card can really go a long way. This is the perfect gift to get someone when you just don’t know what they need.

15. Safety Keychain Set
Safety is super important to keep at the front of your mind, especially for young female travelers. Something I highly recommend for every woman is a safety keychain set. Most of these sets come with not only important safety items but some cute accessories as well. Even if you don’t want to buy an entire set, you should at least look into having the essentials such as pepper spray, a whistle, and a window breaker.
16. Universal Travel Adapter
With so many types of outlets around the world, it is important to be prepared with a universal adapter. This is such an important item to have both for convenience and safety.
17. Portable Charger
Every traveler should pack a portable charger with them because you never know when you are going to need one. Whether or not they plan to be away from electricity for a long time, it does not hurt to be prepared with some extra battery life. That is why this is such a perfect gift for a young traveler.
18. Luggage Organizer
For the people who love to keep things as organized as possible and the people who should learn to keep things as organized as possible, these packing cubes will make a great gift. Coming in multiple colors and sizes, this set is such a fun way to keep things neat.
19. Portable Washing Machine
This gift is one of the coolest things I have ever seen. For travelers who love to camp or go on long trips, this small portable washing machine can be super handy for never running out of clean shirts, socks, and underwear. This item is even available in larger sizes for larger loads.
20. Travel-Size Board Games
To keep them entertained in the car, plane, or wherever they are staying, get them travel-size versions of their favorite board games. Not only are they convenient to pack, but they are also adorable. You’d be surprised at how many games can be made into tiny versions of themselves.
21. Film Camera
Some things never go out of style. For instance, the film camera is still thriving today and makes for some uniquely beautiful travel pictures. In addition, film cameras tend to be pretty small and compact, making them easy to pack.
22. Scratch-Off World Map
A fun way for the traveler in your life to keep up with and show off all the places they have been is with a scratch-off world map. Once they have visited a certain destination, they can come home and scratch it off their map for all to see.

23. Apple Air Tag
Be sure that your young traveler never loses their luggage again. With Apple Air Tags, you are able to track anything as long as you have a compatible Apple device. This is also great to stick inside a wallet, passport holder, and other important items you can’t bare to part with.

24. Neck Pillow
The neck pillow is a travel staple. It is simply not a travel gift guide without the neck pillow. This particular one can be molded into different shapes in order to provide the most comfort possible. Not only can it support the neck but it can be bent into a great back pillow as well.
25. Portable Speaker
This JBL speaker is a necessity for poolside relaxation, hostel parties, hiking tunes, and peaceful white noise for light sleepers. Personally, I always need some kind of box-fan sound when I go to sleep, and if I can’t have the real thing, my go-to is to play box-fan audio from a speaker.
Whether it’s the holidays, a birthday, or you just want to surprise a loved one with a thoughtful gift, this gift guide for young travelers can be your best friend. Whether you want to get them something for on the go or something to spruce up their home, these travel gifts can do just the trick.
